In a time when America is facing what has been called, "The greatest downturn in the American economy, since the great depression," American families are struggling to make-ends-meet, seeking work-from-home opportunities.
Even though we are in the process of ushering-in our new Presidential candidate, Barack Obama and his running mate Joe Biden, this will likely not yield an economic turn-around for some time. It is predicted that we will see an unemployment rate of 7.3 percent next year, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
As Americans hunker-down to weather-the-storm of financial hardship, they are in search of outside income sources to survive. The sales of all categories of items are in a severe decline. All except for four categories, that are seeing huge growth, they are:
1. Lottery Ticket Sales 2. Alcoholic Beverages 3. Tobacco Products 4. Chocolate |
Due to government restrictions/controls the average American is quite unable to participate in the top three items that are the best-selling items in America, today.
That leaves only one alternative left, chocolate. It stands to reason, that if a struggling family - in search of a business to start in these tough economic times - were to consider a new part-time venture, chocolate would be a potential recipe for success.
At present, there are two opportunities available in the chocolate industry, that are open to the average American family, whose timing couldn't have been better.
The Xocai Chocolate company has an opportunity for people to start from home, to generate additional revenue streams from their home-based, healthy chocolate business.
Recently, the Mars Corporation, has developed an at-home business opportunity for those who may be interested in starting their own, "Chocolatier," business, thanks to their launch of Dove Chocolate Discoveries.
It just makes sense, that if you're going to seek to build a second income, working from home, that you would consider embracing one of the four strongest-selling retail channels during this recession.
We may see more home-based chocolate-related business opportunities on the rise in coming months ahead.
